Performs work in more than one of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical and HVAC, sheet metal fabrication, and welding, for the construction, repair, and/or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures.

Performs maintenance on building and facility grounds as directed by Maintenance Supervisor. Intermediate in three or more of the following areas: electrical, power distribution, PLC troubleshooting, programming and machine controls.

Performs major and minor machine maintenance such as repairing tools, making/hanging air lines and electrical cords, changing filters, oils, blades, and any other repairs or monthly maintenance as required.

3 years maintenance machine repair on industrial equipment. 1 year of CNC Machine repair experience. This maintenance position will require doing PMs on CNC machines, grinding machines, a couple fanuc robots, and a few assembly cell machines.

Work with contracted HVAC, electrical and building equipment vendors during scheduled maintenance or repairs. Provide back-up support in the absence of the forklift mechanic to perform basic forklift preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include operation, repair, and preventative maintenance of all building facilities and equipment; move and installation of equipment and or furniture; and other related duties.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a maintenance technician, performing PM and machine repair. Focus on building systems to include leather finishing lines, air make up, HVAC, oven operation, air compressors, and the maintenance of the advanced technology equipment.
