Pay Range: $40.30 - $55.35 per hour, Commensurate with Experience Function/Duties of Position Psychosocial Assessment:Conducts psychosocial evaluations of patients/support person(s) to identify needs and areas of support, including but not limited to: adjustment to cancer diagnosis, care coordination, mental health status, barriers to treatment process, substance use, child or elder abuse/neglect, intimate partner violence concerns, financial concerns, and resource needs.

Demonstrated strong financial and organizational skills with exposure to non-profit accounting and financial reporting requirements; In coordination with the Southern Region Services Director and agency leadership, effectively manages the development and coordinated delivery of services to homeless adults for all programs under the Southern Region (Bertha’s Place Shelter, and Bertha’s Place Too Shelter) in accordance with the mission, vision, and core values of the Agency.

The Louisiana Children’s Code (Article 610) specifies that mandated reporters shall make reports immediately upon learning of incidents of child abuse or neglect. in Liberal Arts or General Studies with a concentration of at least 16 hours in one of the following fields (i.e. psychology, education, counseling, social services, sociology, philosophy, family and participant sciences, criminal justice, rehabilitation services, substance abuse treatment, gerontology, and or vocational rehabilitation) AND two (2) years of paid post degree experience providing support coordination services.

Monitor youth participation in other services (employment, education, basic needs and activity services, and shelter) and progress on action steps including participation in homeless youth resources.

Providence Childrens Health at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center includes surgical, inpatient and ambulatory services including a pediatric intensive care unit, neonatal intensive care unit, childrens emergency department, childrens surgery center, multidisciplinary child development unit and family support services such as child life.

Outreach in community settings, such as local EDs, jails, homeless shelters, medical clinics, and private homes to facilitate engagement and improve care coordination. Assess and address individual and system needs, including but not limited to, conducting biopsychosocial assessments, providing crisis intervention, clinical case consultation, multi-agency care coordination and collaboration.

Infant mental health services include parent-infant psychotherapy, interaction guidance, and child-parent psychotherapy. IMH (Infant Mental Health) Endorsement or master's degree or higher in human services related field or other degree specific to one's professional focus in infant mental health; university certificate program, and/or course work in areas such as infant/very young child development, family-centered practice, cultural sensitivity, family relationships and dynamics, assessment, and intervention.
