Prior Interventional imaging RN experience is preferred, but a minimum of procedural sedation, critical care, or ED RN experience required. There they will coordinate patient schedules with modality technologists (e.g. CT, Ultrasound) and interventional radiologists or physician assistant schedules, ensuring excellent patient flow throughout the patient's experience in IR. Both inpatient and outpatient procedures are performed in IR and the IR RN will also coordinate pre and post care for the IR patients.
