Operates hand power, riding and/or roto mowers to cut lawns and open areas, and trim grass around trees, fences, and structures; uses hand and light power-equipment to trim and prune trees and shrubs; services power equipment by changing oil, lubricating and adjusting as necessary; maintains hand tools by cleaning, drying and storing properly.

Take advantage of on the job training to operate power equipment including forklift, hand tools, and other devices. Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as heat pump water heaters using hand or power tools. Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment. Operates motorized equipment including power tools, saws, hammers and impact drivers. Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers and air tools.

Ability to use standard and specialized hand and power tools and measuring equipment i.e., ultra-sonic, predictive maintenance tools. Performs daily plant maintenance, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and all other related functions on various industrial equipment.
