The Early Childhood Site Director is responsible for the overall administration of developmentally appropriate early learning programs including compliance with all applicable licensing and funding regulations (Federal, State, City, and State Pre-K); and contributes and adheres to the development of agency and Early Education & Care plans and goals, as well as establishing relationships with community health and welfare services.

Assist the lead, co-lead, assistant and/or support/floater teacher to follow the classroom plan and execute a program of developmentally appropriate early childhood education experiences including art, music, movement, math, science and language, with an emphasis on implementing the JCC Jewish Curriculum, Creative Curriculum, and Step Up to Quality Standards in the classrooms.

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution aligned with early childhood education, teacher education, bilingual education, educational administration, social work, school counseling, school psychology, or related field required.

For positions in Child Development (CDC/SAS) Facilities: The education must have been in child development, early childhood education, home economics (early childhood emphasis), elementary education, special education or other fields appropriate to the position to be filled such as related behavioral science.

Experience working as a Lead Child and Youth Program Assistant, Lead Child and Youth Program Technician, Child and Youth Site Leader or as a successful graduate of an Army CYS Services/Land Grant University Intern Program or similar program.

With at least 1 year prior experience in environmental education, outdoor education or early childhood education. Reports to, and work closely with, the Camp Director with all aspects of the summer camp program and other summer education department needs.

As the Relief Nursery Site Supervisor this position is responsible, under the supervision of the Therapeutic Early Childhood Program (TECP) Supervisor and in collaboration with the A Family Place (AFP) Program Director, for the planning, implementation, and coordination of therapeutic classroom and home visiting service delivery at the Newberg site; personnel development, clinical/case management and reflective supervision to Newberg Relief Nursery staff.

Assist in connecting youth to services including but not limited to early childhood education and/or early intervention, after school and summer programming, childcare, teen employment, post-secondary education/training opportunities.

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field of study with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE. Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field of study with a minimum of 2 years experience working with children.

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field w/ 21 credit hours related to early childhood education, early special education, or child development from birth to age 6, teaching experience in an early childhood setting (0-6 years), and a Level 1 Illinois Director Credential or 3 semester hours of college credit in administration, leadership and management.

Job Summary Job Summary Under the general supervision of the site administrator, Head Teacher, or Early Childhood Coordinator, the Early Learning Assistant is to supervise activities and play of birth through five-year-old children.

Must have a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA (or be currently enrolled in a CDA certification program) as well as meet ODJFS licensing qualifications in training and background check.

Work cooperatively with the Early Childhood Education Director and teachers to ensure compliance with state licensing mandates Policies and other regulations both, state and local laws.

POSITION SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Under the Supervision of the Child development Director and Child Development Site Director, the Head Teacher is responsible for the overall operations of the classroom and provide a high quality of education and care for children.

Bachelor’s degree with coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Elementary Education, or an associate degree in ECE with years of experience or a related field, preferably related to one or more of the disciplines they oversee.
