The critical care staff includes physicians and APC support in a collegial hospital environment. The ideal candidate will be internal medicine, emergency medicine or surgery trained with a critical care fellowship.

In this role, critical care APPs work autonomously but collaboratively with intensive care physicians and a large multidisciplinary care team to provide high quality and cost-effective care to patients in critical condition.

Critical Care Paramedic Certification awarded by the State of WI within one year of hire and eligibility to take course for experienced paramedics or within three years for new paramedics.

CareLink Paramedic: Minimum 3 years EMS paramedic level or critical care transport experience for benefited position and 5 years of EMS paramedic level experience and 1 year of critical care transport experience for relief paramedics.

One (1) year of related experience as a Nursing Assistant (NA), Patient Care Assistant (PCA), Critical Care Tech (CCT), or Patient Care Tech (PCT).
