Justice Resource Institute (JRI) is seeking a part-time or full-time (20-40 hrs/week) Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide services in several JRI programs. Candidate must have completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from an accredited program.

Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, paternity, and domestic violence cases. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

This position requires satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks in accordance with Air Force and DoD policy, and a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation. A bachelor's degree or at least 120 semester hours with a major course of study (24 credit hours) from a regionally or nationally accredited college or university with content directly related to: early childhood education, child development, youth development, human development, elementary education, special education, elementary education, secondary education, youth program administration, recreation, and physical education.

These services may include non-medical counseling, training/health and wellness presentations, consultation with parents, personnel at child development centers, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting children and youth.

Provides the full breadth of Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) Military Family Life Counseling (MFLC) services to children of all ages of military service members and their families at military installations to include civilian expeditionary work force and their families (when activated.

CYB counselors will also have a focus on supporting the staff and personnel of Child Development Centers (CDC), youth programs and summer camps as well as providing parent support, training and guidance.

JOB SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of Social Services Director, the Social Worker is responsible for coordinating the provision of patient care services related to such aspects as psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, counseling, emotional support, group work, referral to community agencies/resources, assistance with socio-economic problems, and discharge planning.
