What You'll Do : As a Catastrophe Claims Representative, you will be responsible for immediate response to CAT storm events to investigate, evaluate, and negotiate property claim assignments involving homeowner, farm, and commercial risks.

3 years in a Service Manager Position or background as Service Tech/Mechanic. Preferred applicants will have a minimum of 2 years management experience or a combination of 5 years diesel repair and service management.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To analyze high-level commercial general liability / bodily injury claims on behalf of our valued clients to determine benefits due, while ensuring ongoing adjudication of claims within service expectations, industry best practices, and specific client service requirements.

High School or GED required and at least 6 months as an Underwriter Assistant at Rain and Hail or at least one year of previous crop underwriting experience or a baccalaureate degree. Assists with training of Underwriting Assistant and part-time personnel, as necessary.

Monitors daily workflow and acts as an escalation point for operational issues for staff; maintaining a working knowledge and understanding of the Visa/MasterCard Chargeback rules and requirements pertaining to claims processing.

Maintains the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
