Initiates, maintains and discontinues IV therapy; performs mixing of medications according to protocols. Performs advanced clinical tasks or skills such as removal of sutures and staples, catheterization, audiograms, laboratory procedures (throat/nose culture, drug screen, phlebotomy - butterfly, venous access, heel stick), spirometry, Holter monitor application, casting, complex wound care, fetal heart tone monitoring, Hickman/port-a-cath/PIC line, central line care, conscious sedation, anti-coagulation clinic operation, etc., with demonstrated competency and under clinical supervision.

Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to apply. Provide physical therapy services in a 1:1 setting to help abolish ageism. Degree from an accredited physical therapy program.

Duties •Provide personal care assistance that may include, bathing, grooming, dressing, stand-by assistance, respite care for family caregivers, medication reminders, physical, occupational or therapy exercise reminders, laundry / housekeeping / meal preparation, grocery shopping, continence care / toileting, transfers, amongst possible other duties.

Assists the physician/provider with procedures and surgeries such as pelvic exams, allergy scratch testing, EMG, cautery, colposcopy, etc. Performs laboratory procedures (i.e. strep test, wound culture, specimen collection, etc.
