The postdoc will be based at the NOAA’s Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) in Miami, Florida. The principal function of the postdoc is to contribute to configuring a high-resolution ocean-biogeochemical model for the South Florida region, and use this model to simulate and analyze past and projected regional oceanographic patterns, with an especial focus in five marine ecosystem stressors: ocean acidification, hypoxia, harmful algal blooms (HABs), warming, and eutrophication.
