Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm)Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planningBuild software to help operations and support teamsPerform proactive daily system monitoring including reviewing system and application logs as well as responding to, triaging, troubleshooting and remediating incidentsReview entire environment and execute initiatives to reduce failures, defects and improve overall performanceDesign, implementation and maintenance of automation and configuration management for all levels of Production cloud InfrastructureFixing support escalation issuesUnderstanding the full software stack–and go beyondMaintain a healthy relationship with teamRequired Qualifications:Undergraduate degree OR equivalent experienceExperience with production deployment, monitoring and operational support for Enterprise class applicationsExperience with Java, Application servers, SQL, NOSQL, Kafka, and AngularExperience communicating with Cross apps from release perspective, resolving Cross apps issues with respect to timelines/SupportExperience handling production issues and incident managementA high degree of familiarity with Linux containers and container orchestration tools like Azure Kubernetes service, Kubernetes, DockerDemonstrable knowledge of cloud-based software deployments on the cloud stack (Microsoft Azure, Red hat OpenShift)Good working knowledge of build automation and continuous integration/delivery processes and tools such as: Git, JenkinsGood working knowledge of enterprise data quality monitoring tools like Grafana, splunk, AzureMonitor, SiteScopeProficient in stakeholder satisfaction, as this role will be client facingAble to work on call rotation, as neededPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of cloud native development, infrastructure as code, terraform will be an advantageDemonstrated expertise in web services, virtualization, cloud concepts, REST, JSON, YAML, XML, SQL, LDAP, & object-oriented methodologiesExperience with performance engineering and tuning of applicationsExperience assisting with development and implementation of DevOps SRE solutions for large scale distributed web applications across multiple tiers, data centers, cloud providersExperience with cost analysis across multiple cloudsRequired Skills:JavaAngularKafkaSplunk (or DynaTace could work)Application serversDatabase Experience: SQL, NOSQL – need to be able get into tables and modify them?
