Outside Machinist

Job Description Venture Dynamics is currently seeking a skilled Outside Machinist to join our team. As an Outside Machinist, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of various marine vessels.Key Responsibilities:Perform maintenance and repair work on marine vessels, including installing, repairing, and replacing parts and equipmentRead and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to troubleshoot and diagnose issuesUtilize various hand and power tools to complete repairs and installationsPerform welding, cutting, and brazing tasks as neededConduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure vessels are in good working conditionCollaborate with other team members to complete projects and meet deadlinesAdhere to safety protocols and regulations at all timesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 3 years of experience as an Outside Machinist in a marine or shipyard environmentStrong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various tools and equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematicsProficient in welding, cutting, and brazing techniquesStrong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and problem-solveExcellent communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to work in a physically demanding environment and in various weather conditionsMust be able to pass a background check and drug test
