Early Childhood Educator

Role DescriptionThe Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing developmentally appropriate activities for young children in a nurturing and inclusive environment. The role involves fostering creativity, building strong relationships with children and families, and promoting social, emotional, and cognitive growth. We have full-time and part-time positions available. This is an on-site position based in Newton, MA.HoursStaggered 7-8 hour shifts available between 8:30-5:30.Also looking for part-time "afterschool" positions 2:30-5:30QualificationsStrong interpersonal skills to collaborate with families, staff, and young childrenKnowledge of early childhood development and experience working with childrenCreativity and innovative teaching strategies to create engaging learning experiencesOrganizational skills for planning and managing classroom activities effectivelyPassion for fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environmentExperience in early childhood education or a related field is preferredBachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or equivalent is a plusEEC Certification or path to EEC Certification requiredKnowledge of Hebrew, Jewish life and culture, and/or willingness to learn Company DescriptionTemple Emanuel of Newton is a welcoming and diverse Conservative congregation based in Newton, Massachusetts.
