DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT & PARTNERSHIPSThe Hub Lafayette(Growth, Relationships & Resource Development)Position SummaryThe Director of Development & Partnerships serves as the expansion engine of TheHub, responsible for growing the financial and relational resources that fuel theLovewell Center's mission. This role focuses on fundraising, partnerships, volunteerengagement, and community presence, ensuring the ministry continues to expandits reach, impact, and sustainability.Core ResponsibilitiesFundraising & Revenue GrowthDevelop and execute the annual fundraising strategyManage revenue streams (individuals, churches, corporate, grants)Lead campaigns, sponsorships, and fundraising eventsIdentify and pursue new funding opportunitiesDonor Stewardship & EngagementBuild and maintain strong donor relationshipsCommunicate impact through updates, reports, and storytellingEnsure consistent gratitude and long-term engagementPartnership DevelopmentCultivate partnerships with churches, businesses, and communityorganizations.Represent The Hub in the communityIdentify collaborative opportunities that expand impactVolunteer EngagementRecruit, onboard, and place volunteers, including serving groupsMaintain volunteer communication and engagement systems, including datainput in NeonFoster a culture of service, hospitality, and ownershipIn-Kind Resource DevelopmentBuild relationships with in-kind donorsSecure goods and resources aligned with program needs, including Community Meal, Breakfast, and Outreach needs.Strengthen community involvement through giving opportunitiesSocial Media Strategy & Messaging AlignmentCollaborate with Operations to align social media content with fundraising campaigns, donor engagement, and partnership initiativesProvide direction on messaging priorities related to: Campaigns - Events - Donor communication - Volunteer recruitmentEnsure content reflects compelling storytelling that supports growth and engagement.Identify opportunities to leverage social media for increased visibility, funding, and community involvement.Essential Skills & CompetenciesStrong fundraising and relationship-building abilityStrategic, growth-oriented mindsetExcellent communication and storytelling skillsHigh emotional intelligence and people leadershipEntrepreneurial and opportunity-drivenSuccess Looks Like● Funding streams are growing and sustainable● Donor relationships are strong and engaged● Partnerships expand community impact● Volunteers are active, aligned, and consistent● Awareness and support for The Hub continue to increaseMiscellaneous DutiesAttend all hub-wide organization meetings and eventsPerform other related duties as needed for collaborationCollaborate with the Director of Lovewell and the Director of Operations & InfrastructureWeekly Schedule8:30-5 pmEvent Responsibilities● Community Meal = 5:00-8:00 pm Tuesdays (3 hrs)● Lovewell Breakfast = 1 hr.● Lovewell VIP Club Nights = all required● Outreaches = all required● Special Events & Fundraisers = all requiredThis is a full-time position with an expected average of 36 hours per week - no morethan 40, typically scheduled Monday through Friday. Daily schedules may vary basedon program and ministry needs.● Major Fundraising Events ( example on a Saturday - The Runwell):Participation in these events is expected. Friday off after each event.
