RN Cardiac Services Manager Location:Sidney, Ohio, United States Industry:Acute Care Shift:1st Shift Reports to:Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) Salary:USD $80,000 - $90,000 AnnuallyPosition Summary Responsible for the operational and clinical leadership of Cardiac Services within an acute care setting. This role ensures safe, high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, effective staffing, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams across cardiology-related service lines.Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership for cardiac service areas, supporting excellent patient outcomes and patient experience. Oversee staffing, scheduling, competency validation, onboarding, and performance management. Promote evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives; monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and applicable state and federal regulations. Collaborate with cardiologists, cath lab/diagnostic teams, and nursing leadership to coordinate care and optimize throughput. Manage departmental operations, including budgeting support, supply/equipment oversight, and resource utilization. Support staff education, professional development, and a culture of accountability and teamwork. Participate in committees, audits, and performance improvement activities as assigned by the CNO.Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Current Ohio RN license or compact (multistate) RN license in good standing required. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience required (cardiac/telemetry, critical care, procedural, or related acute care experience). Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive quality and safety outcomes.Preferred Qualifications Leadership experience in cardiology, cath lab, or diagnostic services preferred. Prior experience with accreditation readiness, performance improvement, and operational workflow optimization.Work Environment & Expectations This is an on-site, 1st shift leadership role in an acute care environment. May require flexibility to meet operational needs, support staff, and respond to time-sensitive clinical or departmental priorities.
