With our help, they are better able to deliver the breakthroughs that make a measurable difference in the world.The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located on Clients campus in Santa Rosa, CA exists to provide mechanical solutions that enable the capabilities of Clients industry leading electronic measurement equipment.Job DescriptionAs a machinist you will develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting edge machine tools such as Swiss Style Lathes, Single and Multi-Turret Lathes, and 3 to 5 axis Milling centers.Working closely with R&D on microwave applications, you will influence designs for mechanical components and assemblies, ensure design for manufacturability, facilitate release and support production.SkillsClient is looking for a highly motivated individual with desire to learn advanced machining skills.This position will require a Career level Machinist with a knack for precision and detail.Must have the willingness to learn, strong teamwork, positive attitude, dedication and job flexibility are a must.In addition, you will interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management as well as production/NPI Schedulers.Experience With Any/All The Following Is Highly Desired3 to 5 axis MillingSwiss Style LathesMill/Turn Machine CenterAdvanced MetrologyCNC Programming/CAM Programming SoftwareCAD/Solid ModelingTool GrindingInterpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)EducationHigh School DiplomaAssociate's degree or Journeyman Machinist certification a plus.
