The Machinist will be responsible for operating and maintaining precision machinery to fabricate, modify, or repair metal and plastic parts. Tasks include interpreting blueprints, setting up and calibrating machines, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Additional duties include maintaining a clean and organized workspace while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Qualifications Proficiency in operating and maintaining various machining equipment, including CNC machines, lathes, and milling machinesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematicsKnowledge of precision measurement tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesExperience with troubleshooting mechanical issues and making adjustments to machineryAttention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workStrong understanding of safety procedures and protocols in a manufacturing environmentProblem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlinesPrior experience in manufacturing or machining; vocational training in machining or a related field is a plus
