The successful candidate will be a key player in the Investment Accounting Center of Excellence, with a primary focus on accounting operations and investment reconciliation to uphold the accuracy and integrity of investment balances. This role involves supporting the management of a team of investment accounting professionals, overseeing daily, monthly, and quarterly investment accounting operations, and ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of various accounting tasks. The AVP will also be responsible for executing and reviewing month-end close procedures, acting as a liaison between investment accounting and investment operations, and driving initiatives to enhance investment accounting processes and operational efficiency.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA being preferred, and at least 8 years of relevant experience in investment accounting and reporting for insurance companies under GAAP and STAT. The role requires a strong knowledge of SOX controls, public company experience, and excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and PeopleSoft platforms. Experience with Clearwater Analytics is also preferred. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a team, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and be proactive in driving process improvements within the investment accounting function.Travel Percent Less than 10%FunctionsFinance
