Outside Sales Representative - Portable Power & Equipment Rental
Responsibilities:Responsible for soliciting business for NOV Portable Power as directed by the Sales ManagerConduct cold calls, follow up on leads, create sales opportunities, and close businessDevelop and maintain strong customer relationships across various industries and geographic areas through in-person interactionAttend training at NOV facilities to become familiar with equipment, services, and company processesComplete weekly sales call reports, monthly expense reports, mileage reports, and required documentationParticipate in Monday morning sales meetings and provide updates on sales activity and pipelineAttend sales conferences, industry trade shows, and networking events to promote NOV Portable Power and build brand presencePerform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisorPreferred Background:Experience in equipment rental or industrial outside sales environmentsExperience working with contractors, construction, or industrial customersStrong ability to build relationships, manage a sales territory, and drive revenueComfortable working in a field-based, customer-facing sales roleFamiliarity with portable power, generators, or heavy equipment is a plus
