Controller

Summary:Seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations for a growing aerospace manufacturing company. This role will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, costing, internal controls, audits, and accounting team management while partnering closely with operations and senior leadership.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance development.Oversee accounting functions including GL, AP/AR, payroll, inventory, costing, cash flow, and reconciliations.Manage budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, KPIs, and variance analysis.Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Business Development to improve profitability, costing, and financial performance.Coordinate annual audits, tax activities, internal controls, physical inventory, and accounting policies.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; CPA/MBA preferred.7+ years of accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing or aerospace.Strong Excel skills with experience using ERP/accounting systems; manufacturing ERP experience preferred.Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
