The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.As a Senior Manager, Operations at RXO, you will provide strategic leadership and direction for our Transportation Management services offering. You’ll also define opportunities for improvement and efficiencies, while identifying areas of growth. We want to leverage your skills and years of experience to drive positive results while ensuring a bright future for yourself.What Your Day-to-day Will Look LikeDefine requirements for transportation operations and ensure the implementation of new strategies and initiatives to effectively meet or exceed company requirements and customer expectationsDevelop and deploy transportation operational and management solutions, and establish business controls and processes to support regional transportation operationsProvide direct supervisory control of transportation team to ensure service level standards are metIdentify and deploy a broad range of customer cost-saving initiatives through established processes; achieve budget and operating income goalsLead HR development efforts through appropriate training, development, and succession planningIdentify growth opportunities with current and new customers; perform account management functions for select customersRecognize and manage operational risks/security practices; implement best practices and provide a safe work environment; support legal processes and enable legal dispute resolutionsAt a Minimum, You’ll Need5 years of experience in supply chain management (domestic or international)Working knowledge of and experience in Full Truckload transportation, 3PL Brokerage strategies, and carrier sales managementExperience with financial management and business integration; HR technical skillsAvailability to work extended hours, including evenings, nights and weekends; available for travel to customer and multiple operating locations1-2 years leadership experienceIt’d Be Great If You Also HaveBachelor’s degree in Logistics or an MBA8 years of experience in transportation and logistics managementP&L experienceProven collaboration skills with experience effectively supervising, coaching, and influencing employeesExcellent analytical, communication and time management skillsDoes this sound like you?
