Visit our career site on the web at https://www.logistics.dhl/us-en/home/careers.htmlWe have an exciting opportunity for a PROJECT MANAGER to develop and implement AFR business process improvements with the primary objective of reducing cost and increasing efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Leads, coaches, motivates and develops station and region AFR organization activities, process standards, optimization, and customer centric teamsAligns AFR activities and initiatives to support and enhance the objectives of the overall organization, drive customer satisfaction, with assigned contacts for all customersCustomer visits and maintains effective relationships with the customers in the area of responsibility; supporting sales efforts; reduction of churn and customer retentionExecution of station and region execution of Global/Country/Local AFR strategy, programs, process improvement (First Choice) and auditsDrives station achievement of AFR KPIs; Manages and improves AFR performanceLiaises with all stations/network/IMPAT/First Choice/BPST to deploy and develop AFR-related process improvements, contacts, and qualityIdentifies training needs and opportunities to develop highly skilled teamsStation and regional escalation point for all AFR-related mattersSkills / Requirements:Extensive knowledge in project management initiativesVery strong knowledge of the transportation / logistics industryExceptional analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.State of the art knowledge of technologies, processes, and practicesStrategic thinking, self-directed, high energy and proactive working styleSolid understanding of applicable regulations, safety protocols, process flow tolerances and Six Sigma or related process-improvement skillsBA/BS degree or experience in related disciplineFluent in English communication (verbal/written)Pay Range: $93,142.50 - $124,190.00+ (Based on Experience)Benefits (All Non-Union Employees)Compensation: Competitive base salary plus role dependent performance-based incentives.401(k) Match: $1-for-$1 match up to 4% quarterly + 2% annual base contribution.Stock Purchase Plan: Ability to purchase Deutsche Post AG shares at a discounted rate.Medical: Comprehensive plans covering preventive care, inpatient/outpatient services, and prescriptions.Vision: Optional coverage for exams, frames, and contacts.Dental: Optional coverage for preventive, basic, and major services.Paid Time Off: 7 major holidays, 8 floating holidays, and accrued vacation/sick days.Why Join DHL Global Forwarding?At DHL Global Forwarding, we invest in our employees' growth, providing training, guidance, and career advancement opportunities.
