Personal Injury Attorney – Dallas, TXPosition Title: Personal Injury AttorneyDepartment: LitigationLocation: Dallas, TX (In‑office, highly collaborative environment)Position SummaryThis role is built for an attorney who wants meaningful work, real mentorship, and the chance to grow into a long‑term legacy position. The firm handles high‑quality plaintiff personal injury cases and believes in collaboration, ownership, and developing the next generation of trial lawyers.The attorney will take depositions independently, draft and argue motions, and manage cases with strong support—not in a silo. You’ll be handed cases but encouraged to ask questions, brainstorm strategy with the team, and think proactively. The environment is extremely team‑oriented, with a true “family first” culture.If someone has the motivation and personality to eventually build a name for themselves, this is the kind of place that helps make that happen.Essential FunctionsManage and develop PI cases from intake through litigation with guidance and support.Prepare cases for trial, including deadlines, discovery, experts, and expert reports.Conduct and defend depositions independently.Draft, file, and argue motions in court.Work collaboratively on strategy, case development, and problem‑solving.Participate in mentoring interns and junior team members.Assist with rotating intake responsibilities and occasional after‑hours PNC calls.Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams.Other ResponsibilitiesContribute to a positive, collaborative, “family atmosphere” culture.Engage with partners and paralegals during case reviews and team meetings.Support ongoing process improvements within the litigation team.Required Education, Experience & SkillsJ.D. and licensed to practice in Texas.3–4 years of PI litigation experience preferred, but open to 10+ year attorneys wanting a better lifestyle, culture, and case mix.Strong preference for plaintiff-side experience; open to defense backgrounds.Bilingual skills are a major advantage.Excellent communication skills with minimal need for handholding.Ability to handle responsibilities after hours when needed for intake rotation.Values work‑life balance and appreciates a firm that encourages life outside the office.Performance StandardsAbility to independently handle motion work, depositions, and litigation tasks.Proactive case management and deadline discipline.Strong client communication and professionalism.Commitment to collaboration, mentorship, and team success.Ability to contribute to a long-term, growth-oriented firm vision.Benefits401(k) with 3% matchHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance ($5 opt‑in plan)Life insuranceDisability policyPaid sick timeDiscretionary bonus program tied to cases, contributions, and outcomesA culture that prioritizes family first, then work
