This position plays a critical role in driving cases forward from initial intake through trial preparation, while maintaining consistent communication with clients and coordinating all aspects of case development.This opportunity is ideal for a self-sufficient professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can handle a substantial caseload, and demonstrates strong writing, organizational, and teamwork skills.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive support to multiple attorneys across all stages of case development, including investigation, litigation, and trial preparationIndependently manage an active caseload, ensuring matters progress efficiently and deadlines are consistently metConduct thorough client intake processes and maintain ongoing communication to provide updates and gather necessary informationDraft and revise a wide range of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, correspondence, discovery responses, and demand packagesGather, organize, and analyze supporting documentation, including medical records, billing statements, wage information, and incident reportsCompile and prepare settlement demand packages, assisting attorneys with strategy and negotiation preparationMonitor and track case timelines, including court deadlines, discovery schedules, and statutes of limitationFile pleadings and documents with courts and agencies, both electronically and when required in personCoordinate scheduling and logistics for depositions, mediations, hearings, client meetings, and medical evaluationsServe as a liaison with external parties, including medical providers, expert witnesses, insurance representatives, and opposing counselMaintain accurate and well-structured case files within the firm’s document management systemAssist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness lists, and managing courtroom logisticsEnsure compliance with all confidentiality standards, procedural requirements, and ethical guidelinesQualificationsAt least 6+ years of experience supporting personal injury cases in a legal assistant or paralegal capacityDemonstrated ability to handle files through various stages of litigation, including pre-suit and trial preparationStrong understanding of case procedures, deadlines, and documentation requirements within personal injury mattersExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality legal documentationHighly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyAbility to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and ExcelStrong problem-solving skills and a professional, client-focused approachCore CompetenciesAbility to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines in a high-volume environmentStrong attention to accuracy and detailEffective collaboration and teamwork skillsDependability and accountability in meeting case demandsClient service-oriented mindsetAdditional Position DetailsFull-time, in-office role located in Dallas, TXStandard hours are 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, with occasional overtime based on case demandsSupports approximately 3 attorneys with an active caseload of 25–30 mattersExposure to high-value, complex cases involving significant damagesCompensation & BenefitsSalary starting at $80K+ depending on experienceComprehensive benefits package, including fully covered healthcare for employee and eligible dependentsPaid time off beginning in the first yearRetirement plan with employer contribution
