Department: Texas First Rentals (TFR)Location: TFR - SA TradesmanDescriptionPerforms lubrication and periodic maintenance tasks on Texas First Rentals rental equipment in field/job locations.The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.Essential FunctionsModels, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and MissionPerforms lubrication and periodic maintenance service work on heavy equipment located in the field in order to respond to customer needsGrease and lubricate vehicles or specified units, such as springs, universal joints, or steering knuckles, using grease guns or spray lubricantsMaintains appearance and operation of lubrication truck to ensure productivity and position representation to Texas First Rentals/HOLT customersComplete all necessary forms and documentation associated with Customer Service Agreements (CSA) in an accurate and timely manner to ensure internal and external needs are metWorks safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standardsRequires regular and punctual employee attendancePerforms other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of construction equipment, aerial, and lifting equipmentKnowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and practicesKnowledge of operating characteristics and limitations of the equipment being operatedKnowledge of safe work procedures and practicesKnowledge of tools, including their designs, uses, and maintenanceDemonstrates proficiency with current computer software, related hardware, and basic knowledge of machine electronic systemsExceptional skills in customer serviceOperation and control skills of equipment or systemsAbility to interact with tact and courtesy and maintain a professional demeanorAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and customersAbility to read and understand equipment service manuals and lubrication chartsAbility to understand and follow verbal and written instructionsAbility to communicate clearly and effectivelyAbility to perform all the physical requirements of the positionRequirementsEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent preferredOne or more years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneTravel:Up to 20% travelAdditional Requirements:Valid Driver’s license requiredAbility to obtain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and must have an acceptable driving recordPhysical Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
