We offer competitive wages and an excellent fringe benefit package.SummaryFor assigned projects, plan, and direct construction operations to ensure successful completion of contract work.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Development and implementation of schedules and work plans for assigned projects Communicate with Customers and project team members to coordinate job schedules, changes and address any construction issues that ariseProvide direction to field personnel and ensure all work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedulesEnsure project documentation and quantity reporting is accurate and complete Develop submittals, change orders, and pay requests as assignedResolve or participate in resolving construction problemsReview and evaluate daily costs, timesheets, truck, and equipment usageMonitor employee compliance with safety program requirements, and document and ensure corrective measures are implementedCoordinate and cooperate with other departments (i.e., Quality Control, Equipment) to ensure that all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc. are in place to support craft activities and project scheduleQualificationsFive (5) to ten (10) years of experience in heavy highway and site development preferredExperience with asphalt, concrete, grading, and underground utility preferredStrong quantitative and analytical skillsExceptional organizational skillsAdaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office essentialProblem-solving skills with attention to detailSelf-motivated; ability to work independentlyGood written and verbal communication skillsEqual Opportunity Employer – It is the policy of Rieth-Riley to assure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment, without regard to their veteran status, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, color, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, citizen status, and/or any other applicable legally-recognized protected class under local, state, or federal law.
