The candidate will act as the first line of support for Mechanical CAD (MCAD) users, handling technical issues, onboarding, installation, licensing, and NX-PLM integrations. The role requires excellent troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills in a fast-paced engineering setup.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Tier-1 support for Siemens NX users through Jira ticketing systemTroubleshoot and resolve:NX application launch failuresUser login and access issuesLicense checkout and expiration problemsSupport users with basic Siemens NX operations:3D Part filesAssembly filesDrawing filesInstall, configure, and maintain approved Siemens NX versionsPerform basic FlexLM license diagnostics and troubleshootingValidate workstation readiness including:Windows / Linux / Mac OS compatibilityGraphics configurationMemory and VPN connectivitySupport NX and Teamcenter/PLM connectivity issuesAssist with onboarding and setup for new mechanical engineering usersTrack, document, and update incidents in JiraCoordinate with engineering and IT teams for issue resolution and escalationRequired SkillsStrong knowledge of:Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environmentsNetworking and Software Configuration ManagementBasic to intermediate experience with Siemens NX (Design & Drafting modules)Familiarity with Teamcenter or other PLM systemsUnderstanding of NX licensing concepts:Floating licensesNode-locked licensesExperience with FlexLM licensing supportExcellent troubleshooting and documentation skillsStrong communication and user support abilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting enterprise engineering environmentsPrior exposure to CAD/PLM administration or support rolesKnowledge of engineering workflows and product lifecycle managementExperience RequiredMinimum 3+ years of experience in Siemens NX support or IT support within an engineering environmentOverall experience: 6–12 years preferred
