Prolim is hiring for Java Developer for a leading clientThis Java/React developer position supports the Michigan Department of Transportation's (MDOT) Project Development and Maintenance programs.As a software developer, responsibilities include collaborating with the project manager, application owner, and resource manager, working on an agile development team to organize work, develop, test, and deploy code. This role performs a variety of complex tasks and may report directly to a project lead or manager. Strong communication skills, teamwork, self-direction, commitment, and quick learning are essential.In addition to full-stack development, this position works closely with UI/UX team members to build modern, responsive user interfaces using React.Required ExperienceProgramming complex systems using current Java and development tools such as Eclipse/JBoss Developer Studio - 7 YearsProgramming with Java 8 - 4 YearsDevelopment using the current Spring Framework - 5 YearsDevelopment with JPA/Hibernate - 5 YearsAgile development environment experience - 5 YearsProgramming with Oracle 12C or Oracle 19C - 4 YearsDevelopment using React.js for building responsive user interfaces - Desired/Required based on business need, 4 YearsProgramming in the JBoss Enterprise environment - 4 YearsDesired ExperienceFrontend development experience with a strong focus on meeting WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards (or higher).JUnit, Tiles - 4 YearsReporting tools such as Jasper Reports - 4 YearsAdditional Info:Interview Process: There will likely be two rounds of interviews. Interviews will be held in person. Candidates MUST be available for an in-person interview.Duration: 1 year with extension likelyHybrid: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week.
