The position is permanent and full-time and not a contract position.No 1099, C2C or Corp to Corp candidates please.Position SummaryThe Salesforce Developer works on a highly functional team of Salesforce certified professionals and assists in developing specifications; contributing to solution design; and configuring the Salesforce platform in response to client needs and planned usage for the platform. This position participates in design and coding activities, working collaboratively with other team members and the client team.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and deploy innovative Salesforce solutions including complex Flows, Lightning Web Components, Apex triggers and classes, VisualForce pages and moreExecute declarative Salesforce platform configuration when possibleUse Apex, Visualforce and JavaScript to create unique customer-based solutionsBuild product integrations using API's, Apex and iPaaS technologiesDevelop new native products on the platformInteract directly with our customers and the Summit Technologies team, including consultants, project managers, business analysts, architects and sales reps to ensure customer successParticipate in the full application life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deploymentEssential FunctionsPossesses knowledge, skills, and experience building custom declarative and programmatic applications on the Force.com platformDesign data models, user interfaces, business logic, and security for custom applicationsContributes to the overall Salesforce solution that optimizes the client’s investment in the platform, balancing business needs with technical complexity. Specifically, this position will utilize Apex, JavaScript and Visualforce to create unique client-based solutions.This role will span all aspects of the software development lifecycle and include working alongside the client’s business, development and user experience teams in a highly collaborative environmentAbility to translate documented business use cases into functional solutionsAdheres to platform best practicesUnderstands and embraces test-driven development, Agile and Scrum methodologiesResponsible for developing new features and functionality as well as integrating new modules that enhance the client’s experience with the Salesforce platform. Builds product extensions using Visualforce and Apex technologiesRoutinely participates in problem analysis with client business users and assists in determining software solutions and enhancements. Participates in design review meetings and the evaluation of technical requirements and options associated with the client project.May also provide maintenance, including troubleshooting, support for the Salesforce platform and triage support issues to other areas of development if neededRemains abreast of the current and future Salesforce feature set and how those changes are relevant to the client organizationRequired QualificationsSalesforce.com Developer Certified1+ years of experience with programming in APEX, Visualforce and the Web Services API2+ years of general IT/Programming experienceBe able to design and build integrations between SFDC and other applicationsBe able to see a task from a business standpoint, not just a technical perspectiveBe results-oriented, able to take a task and achieve objectives with minimal guidanceKnow how to quantify and visualize business dataExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work well both individually and within a teamComfort in working in a small company atmosphere at a fast paceAdditional Beneficial QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or related field)1+ years of experience with Salesforce.com administrationLightning Component / JavaScript development experienceThis position description is intended to be dynamic and subject to change.
