If you're hands-on, technically sharp, and take pride in preventative maintenance and precision repairs, we want to meet you.Below, you will find a complete breakdown of everything required of potential candidates, as well as how to apply Good luck.What You'll DoAs a key member of our Maintenance team, you will:Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs on filling, packaging, mixing, and building equipmentDisassemble, repair, and rebuild production machinery with minimal supervisionPerform preventative and predictive maintenance across facility and production equipmentDiagnose electrical systems using a multimeter (24VDC & 120VAC I/O controls)Work with PLC systems, air logic, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsInterpret blueprints, machine drawings, and schematics to determine root causePerform advanced electrical, welding, plumbing, and carpentry repairsFabricate fixtures and parts using machine tools when neededTrain and guide other mechanics while maintaining high workmanship standardsInitiate work orders and document repairs and abnormal conditionsWhat You BringHigh School Diploma or GED35 years of technical trade experience in industrial maintenanceStrong industrial electrical troubleshooting background (highly preferred)Experience with PLCs, controls, hydraulics & pneumaticsAbility to troubleshoot using a multimeterExperience operating powered industrial trucks (a plus)Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skillsAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in active manufacturing environmentsWork EnvironmentThis is a hands-on manufacturing role requiring:Standing/walking for most of your shiftClimbing, bending, lifting, and twistingWorking around chemicals, noise, heat/cold, and heightsWhy Permatex?Stable, established chemical manufacturerTeam-focused environmentOpportunities to mentor and growWork where your technical expertise truly mattersIf you're ready to bring your electrical and mechanical expertise to a fast-paced manufacturing environment and keep production running at peak performance apply today and power the next shift at Permatex.This position pays $29-$35 an hour depending on experience and job history.
