Adecco is assisting a local Manufacturer in Portsmouth, NH, searching for Cable Assemblers and Fiber Optic Assemblers. These are full-time positions offering incentives, great pay, and overtime!Schedules:1stShift – 6:00AM – 2:30PM – Monday – Friday2ndShift – 2:00PM – 12:30AM – Monday – Thursday (10-Hour Shifts)Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Must be able to read and understand schematic wiring diagrams and process sheets.Must be able to use simple electrical instruments to make polarity determinations, measure insulating Resistance, perform dielectric withstanding voltage tests.Must be able to assemble properly and use effectively various molds and plastic injection devices.Must be able to work from detailed instructions on standard assemblies with guidance and supervision.Product meets specificationsQuality level is maintainedMaintain company standards of performance and comply with housekeeping, safety policies and proceduresEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent1-3 years or more of related experience, technical school, and/or training.Knowledge of lean manufacturing, supervision, and ability to work with others.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.Familiar with Microsoft Office products, ERP or MRP systems.Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong communication skills, written and verbal.Strong organization skillsProfessionalismTeam PlayerAbility to adapt to change and maintain a positive attitude a must.Willingness to learn new skills and train others.If you are interested in this position, please apply to this posting with your resume!Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
