This is a large investment in innovation to continue to drive operational excellence at our facilities.If you want to build durable systems that operate in the physical world at scale, this is that opportunity.The RoleThe DevOps / Cloud Engineer is responsible for building and operating the cloud infrastructure that powers US Cold’s B2B platforms, including APIs, portals, and integration services. This role focuses on reliability, scalability, security, automation, and observability to ensure high availability and performance across customer-facing systems.What You Will OwnWe are embarking on a multi-year modernization effort running alongside live operations.In This Role, You WillDesign, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure for B2B platforms.Build CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable delivery of APIs and integrations.Manage API gateways, load balancing, and traffic routing.Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance metrics.Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and uptime SLAs.Automate infrastructure provisioning using infrastructure-as-code.Partner with security teams to implement access controls, secrets management, and compliance requirements.Support incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.Optimize cloud costs and performance.Technical EnvironmentIBMi, Azure, and OCI multi-region infrastructureGitHub Actions and Jenkins for CI/CDTerraform for Infrastructure-as-CodeNodeJS, Python, NextJS, and ReactIBM Sterling B2B IntegratorDB2, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SnowflakeAS2, SFTP, and API integration with external systemsObservability using Azure MonitorWhat We Are Looking For - the ideal candidate will have or be able to complete the below qualifications:EducationBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.Qualifications5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform operations.Strong experience with Azure cloud platformsExperience building CI/CD pipelines using modern tooling (Jenkins, Github Actions or similar).Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration.Strong understanding of networking, security, and access control concepts.Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor preferred)Strong scripting or automation skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting API platforms and integration services.Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform or similar)Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC2 or ISO.Experience supporting high-availability, customer-facing platforms.Background in enterprise or regulated environments.What Success Looks LikeStable, secure, and scalable B2B platforms.High system availability and performance.Faster deployment cycles with minimal risk.Strong operational visibility and proactive issue detection.Why This Role Is DifferentYou will deploy, monitor and tune internal and external facing applications using latest cloud technologiesYou will use AI-assisted tools (Azure Monitor, Copilot, etc.) to develop and enhance solutions used by our employees and customersYour decisions will have an immediate impact on our teams, our systems, and the warehouses moving food across the country
