Senior Full Stack Developer - Remote, Washington, DCDuration: 12 monthsDay-to-day Responsibilities:Design, build, and optimize user-facing web interfaces and backend API/services for core workflows.Ensure seamless, secure integration between frontend, backend, and analytic services.Implement authentication, authorization, and data protections throughout the stack.Build and document reusable code, UI components, and API endpoints for scalable delivery.Collaborate with developers, data engineers, DevOps, and product owners for robust solutions.Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and improvement of production systems.Required Skills:Experience building, deploying, and supporting full stack web applications in production environments.Strong familiarity with building and integrating REST APIs and backend systems.Proficiency with modern front-end development: JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.Expertise in frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.Backend development expertise in languages like Python, Java, or Node.js.Experience with microservices architecture and integration patterns.Database skills with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.CI/CD and DevOps awareness, including git-based workflows, modern CI/CD tooling, and containerization (Docker).Experience with cloud deployment practices in AWS or GCP.Integrating web UIs and APIs with analytics platforms.Preferred Skills:Active FDA laptop access or recent FDA project offboarding.Experience with Drools business rules engines.Integration with Databricks or other analytic/data platforms.Experience with Spring Boot.Dashboard or data visualization expertise.Familiarity with regulated/public sector platforms.Experience with shared component libraries or design systems.Exposure to event-driven and real-time architectures.Expected Deliverables:Drive development of web applications and APIs for the NextGen platform, delivering intuitive user experiences and robust server-side processing.Work across the stack—building responsive interfaces, architecting scalable backend services, and integrating advanced analytics platforms.Collaborate closely with backend, data, and DevOps teams to ensure secure, maintainable solutions.Education: Bachelor's degree
