You will serve as a trusted advisor to key utility clients while helping shape and expand our environmental services across electric, gas, and water markets.This is a high-profile, growth oriented leadership opportunity within our Environmental Business Unit-ideal for a seasoned professional who brings deep technical expertise, strong utility relationships, and a proven ability to influence client strategy and win work. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide senior-level technical leadership on environmental projects, including compliance, site investigation, remediation, and permittingServe as a trusted advisor to utility clients, strengthening long-term partnerships and expanding service offeringsSupport and drive business development efforts, helping position and secure work with electric, gas, and water utilitiesCollaborate with Market Leaders, Discipline Leaders, and Business Unit leadership to identify and pursue strategic growth opportunitiesContribute to proposal strategy, including positioning, pursuit planning, and go/no-go decisionsMentor and guide project managers and technical staff supporting utility accountsEnsure high-quality, compliant deliverables aligned with regulatory requirements and firm standardsSkills, Knowledge and Expertise We're seeking a well-established environmental professional who combines technical credibility with market influence and thrives in a client-facing, growth-oriented role. Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering, Geology, or a related field15+ years of environmental consulting experienceProfessional licensure preferred (PE, LEP, LSP, PG, or equivalent)Proven experience delivering environmental services to utility clientsEstablished relationships within Connecticut, Massachusetts, and/or Southern New Hampshire utility markets strongly preferredStrong leadership, communication, and client management skillsWhat Sets You Apart Recognized expertise in environmental consulting with a strong focus on utility clientsDemonstrated ability to influence, win, and grow key client relationshipsDeep understanding of regulatory frameworks and environmental challenges within the utility sectorProven track record of leading complex projects and driving business growthThis is ahybrid role , offering the best of both worlds-collaborate in-office with a high-performing team and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely part of the week.
