Details Position is in a Pediatric ICU (PICU) at an academic medical center Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00) 3 weekends required per six-week schedule Floating may be required to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license will be accepted Current BLS and PALS certifications required PICU nursing experience required Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus Epic EMR experience required Two professional references required for consideration Driver's license and Social Security card copies required for consideration Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in the PICU No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract; no time off approved during the first 2 weeks of the assignment Independence Day (July 4th) cannot be approved as time off Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler American Traveler Job ID P-689731.
