Legal Our Legal team is responsible for leading and overseeing our strategic direction, operations and performance. Together, we navigate and lead Vestacy through dynamic global and environmental changes, whilst looking ahead to the horizon for growth and sustainability opportunities. We touch every part of our organisation, from developing and executing long term business strategies to ensuring financial health and budgeting. We do this by inspiring and guiding cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and encouraging pride throughout - shaping our culture of care - with key values and ethical standards leading our way.About the roleAs Commercial Counsel you will be a part of the Essential Home North American Legal team, reporting directly to the Legal Director, Essential Home North America. Reckitt is seeking an attorney with experience with advertising law, commercial contracts, and dispute resolution and will generally work on other legal matters as needed. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic legal team and work on solving emerging issues creatively in an exciting and fast-paced environment.Your responsibilitiesDraft, review, and revise various types of contracts, including supply agreements, service agreements, and vendor contracts. Prepare and update library of contract templates.Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Conduct legal research related to contract law and other relevant topics.Advise on advertising law related to our bran communication.Provide guidance and assistance in respect of dispute resolution and where needed litigation. regulations.The experience we're looking forLaw degree from an accredited law school require.Minimum of 5 years of experience with a major corporation from a relevant industry or leading law firm.In-depth knowledge of contract law principles and experience drafting and negotiating a range of contract types.Knowledge of advertising law.Experience of dispute resolution and litigation.The ability to interface effectively with internal senior management.Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.Clear and effective communicator with a commitment to responsiveness and problem-solving.Strong desire to learn the business and function smoothly as part of an interdisciplinary team.What we offerWe believe great work deserves great rewards.
