What Makes This Role DifferentYou'll be a highly trusted expert representing the voice of the customer quality to Korry. You'll be part of a very efficient work team working fiscal month targets, solving problems that involve root cause analysis, AS9100 knowledge, or and statistical quality control. You'll help ensure excellent engineering goes into every part that flies. Your insights will directly impact commercial flight safety, customer confidence, and our reputation in the aerospace industry.What You Will Do:Lead Through Influence: You'll own the success of quality initiatives across our manufacturing operations by building consensus and inspiring teams to rally behind common goals. At Korry, your persuasion skills matter as much as your technical expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure materials, equipment, processes, and products exceed rigorous aerospace quality standardsLeader of AS9100 section 8.7 Control of Nonconforming Material process knowledgeSpearhead root cause investigations and implement permanent solutions leading to repeatable & reliable manufacturing processes.Champion quality from day one in new product introduction projects, ensuring airworthiness from concept to production.Drive Continuous ImprovementPartner with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to design and implement robust process controlsUse data to tell stories, identify trends, and drive action that improves safety and efficiencyGuarantee compliance with aerospace customer specifications and regulatory requirements (AS9100, AS9102)Communicate directly with aerospace customers to resolve issues and strengthen partnershipsManage What Matters Balance multiple high-priority aerospace programs simultaneously while maintaining the exceptional attention to detail our industry demands and delivering results that keep aircraft flying safely.What You BringPreferred Education and Experience:* Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (ABET-accredited engineering degree is a strong plus)* 2+ years in highly regulated aerospace or defense manufacturingPreferred Skills and Abilities:Strong track record in root cause analysisWorking knowledge of SPC, process capability, and inspection sampling methods critical to aerospace manufacturingExperience with AS9100, and/or AS9102 standardsWhat Sets You ApartBias for action - You move quickly from analysis to implementation without sacrificing rigorCritical thinking - You evaluate complex aerospace problems, weigh safety trade-offs, and make sound decisionsIndependence - You think objectively and aren't afraid to challenge the status quo when safety is at stakeCommunication skills - You're confident engaging with customers, auditors, and regulatory bodiesCollaboration - You work seamlessly across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teamsTechnical proficiency - Microsoft Suite is second nature to youWhy This MattersThis isn't just another quality role, it's high tech aerospace.
