These involve low level game and engine systems, including internal developer workflows and processes. Potential options include internal devops and stability, tech initiatives related to the editor, and reducing time to play.In this position, you will partner with the broader Fortnite organization and specific team leadership across the company to manage goals, executions, and outcomes of this program. We're looking for individuals who excel in multitasking, thrive in chaos, possess great communication skills, and are comfortable managing roadmaps and schedules of a group of opaque initiatives. Ideal candidates have experience in game or engine development or hardware frameworks, and have directly worked with programmers and the systems they develop.In this role, you willPartner with the Programming Directors, Product Owners, and exec stakeholders to define strategies and initiatives for the programDevelop a roadmap feedback loop which can speak to health, risk, progress, and roll that up to the broader orgHelp scale operations to support the broader Metaverse visionYou may directly manage producers, or you may be operating individually but influencing other teams in what they do and how they do itOperate 50% at a high level and 50% in the details managing technical workWhat we're looking forDeep experience working with programmers and on technical projectsAble to drive high level goals/vision and also dig into technical detailsExperience managing outcomes for the program and know enough to confirm the validity of the underlying planUnderstands how complex systems work, what they do, and why.
