Financial Analyst

A global retailer is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their Americas team, reporting to the Finance Manager out of their Manhattan and New Jersey offices.Responsibilities:Support financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis across multiple countries in the Americas regionActively participate in monthly close processes in collaboration with the Shared Services Accounting teamAnalyze financial performance vs. budget/forecast and explain variances across P&L, CapEx, Balance Sheet, and Cash FlowPrepare and present monthly financial reports for regional and HQ leadership including the worldwide executive teamMaintain and enhance forecasting models aligned with business assumptions and strategic prioritiesPartner with department heads and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver financial insightsSupport ad hoc analyses and special projects as neededRequirements:Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA a plus2+ years in a similar FP&A or financial analyst role; retail experience is a plusProficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Anaplan; SAP experience a plusStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlinesComfortable working with international counterparts and maintaining confidentiality
