Sr. Analyst Finance

THE ROLEA confidential, highly respected and growing multi-billion-dollar global retail brand is seeking a Senior Analyst – Finance to join its New York-based team at a pivotal moment of transformation and growth.This role will be instrumental in supporting enterprise financial forecasting, internal reporting, and business performance analysis, helping leadership make informed decisions across key initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical rigor, financial planning expertise, and a natural curiosity for identifying trends, uncovering insights, and driving process improvements.This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working at the intersection of reporting, strategic planning, and operational decision support within a dynamic, fast-moving consumer and retail environment.RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the ongoing development and maintenance of financial forecasts, partnering closely with divisional finance teams to analyze results and forward-looking projectionsDeliver regular updates to leadership, providing insight into performance versus expectations and highlighting key business driversConduct financial analyses to assess profitability, business initiatives, and investment decisionsSupport annual planning cycles, expense budgeting, and target setting in partnership with corporate and divisional leadershipTrack and communicate variances against budget, forecast, and prior year performanceIdentify opportunities to improve reporting processes, systems, and financial workflowsAssist with the buildout and implementation of new reporting tools, dashboards, and internal analysesSupport ad hoc projects and leadership requests as business needs evolvePartner cross-functionally to ensure financial insights are translated into actionable business recommendationsIDEAL BACKGROUNDBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field3–5 years of relevant FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experienceStrong experience with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysisAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilitiesExperience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, SQL, VBA, Vena, or enterprise finance systems is highly preferredStrong ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable business insightsComfortable working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environmentStrong communication skills with the ability to present to leadership and cross-functional partnersWHY THIS ROLEThis is a unique opportunity to join a highly visible finance team supporting a globally recognized retail brand during an exciting period of modernization, growth, and continued investment in analytics and enterprise capabilities.The right individual will have the opportunity to make meaningful impact through data-driven insights, strategic partnership, and continuous process improvement.
