FRCC does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, age, color, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or national origin in employment or in our educational programs and activities.Primary DutiesDuties may include, but are not limited to, the following:Verify Student Status: Confirm that individuals using the labs are current FRCC students.General Technical Assistance: Provide basic support for computer-related questions (excluding specific software instruction).Lab Environment Standards: Ensure that food and beverages remain outside the labs.Printer & Supply Management:Monitor paper and ink levels for printers.Notify the hiring manager via email when inventory is low.Space & Storage Organization:Maintain organization and cleanliness of the instructor station, vignettes, and storage areas.Notify the hiring manager via email when supplies need to be replenished.Equipment Troubleshooting:Perform basic troubleshooting for printers and the copier when issues arise.Notify the hiring manager via email if problems persist beyond basic troubleshooting.Material Lab Oversight:Keep the material lab tidy, organized, and well-maintained.Open and close the material lab according to scheduled lab hours.* End-of-Day Procedures: Shut down all computers and properly secure and lock the lab when leaving.Required CompetenciesReliableOrganizedCommunicativeTakes initiativeQualificationsMust be a FRCC student enrolled in at least 6 credits for the current semesterApplicants do not have to qualify for work-study funds from Financial Aid.Lab Assistants must be declared in one of the following Programs:AECCADINDNotice to Prospective Employees: Front Range Community College is required by the Clery Act of 1990 to notify prospective employees, current employees, students and applicants where to access our Campus Security Report.
