The Role
Seeking a Senior Autonomy Software Engineer to lead development of autonomy systems for a novel electric mobility platform operating in real-world environments.
What You'll Do
Lead development of autonomous docking and low-speed maneuvering systems
Build core autonomy capabilities including perception, localization, planning, and control
Design and integrate sensor suites suited to challenging real-world environments
Develop robust navigation systems that operate safely within constrained and dynamic environments
Play a key role in shaping and scaling the autonomy software team
What We're Looking For
Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
Experience building and deploying autonomy systems in real-world environments
Strong understanding of full autonomy stack (perception, localization, planning, controls)
Hands-on experience with optimal control methods (e.g. iLQR, MPPI)
Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
Nice to Have
Experience with ROS2 or similar middleware
Background in vehicle dynamics (e.g. robotics, automotive, aerospace, marine)
Experience working on systems operating in complex, unstructured environments
