IMG Academy has been nationally recognized by organizations including Sports Business Journal, USA Today, and the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For for its workplace culture, innovation, and commitment to developing people both on and off the field.IMG Academy provides growth opportunities for student-athletes and partners through an innovative suite of on-campus and online experiences:Boarding school and camps, delivered on a state-of-the-art campus in Bradenton, FloridaOnline coaching through IMG Academy+, focused on personal development through the lens of sport and performanceOnline college recruiting through NCSA College Recruiting and SportsRecruits, providing industry-leading recruiting education, tools, and access to a network of more than 40,000 college coaches for student-athletes, families, club coaches, and event operatorsElevate by IMG Academy, a performance and personal development solution that delivers mindset, leadership, and wellbeing programming to schools, colleges, and organizations through a combination of digital content and immersive experiencesJob Title: Laundry AttendantDepartment: AccommodationsPosition Summary: Laundry Attendants are responsible for maintaining the laundry operations at a boarding school and sports training destination located on a 400-acre area campus.Position Responsibilities.Perform a variety of laundry related activities such as washing, drying, and folding garments and linens Ensure laundry is completed according to the company’s established schedules and standards Responsible for the day-to-day pick-up and delivery of laundry across campus Maintain laundry logs and other documentation to track laundry completed Operate washing machines and dryers according to instructions and safety protocols Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laundry machines to ensure optimal performance Regularly monitor laundry supply levels and equipment to ensure proper usage and replacement Report any maintenance concerns or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel Ensure the laundry facility is clean and organized at all times Handle guest requests related to laundry services or special requests in a professional manner Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and continually enhance the campus experience Knowledge, Skills, and AbilityHigh school graduate or equivalent Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required Customer-oriented and friendly Effective time management skills Ability to work efficiently and with minimal supervision Basic knowledge of laundry operations and equipment Preferred SkillsBilingual – Spanish & English Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentAbility to lift, carry, move, push and pull equipment or boxes up to 50lbs Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift Ability to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and inspection tasks Ability to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time. Ability to work on various indoor and outdoor surfaces including grass, turf, courts, etc. in all weather Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. Requires the use of stairs on a consistent basis Must be able to operate office equipment such as computers Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed Background RequirementsRequires a background check upon offer.
