Indian Beach Nursing and Rehab Center - Laundry AideIndian Beach Nursing and Rehab CenterLocation: Sarasota, FloridaWe are currently seeking a Laundry Aide to join our Environmental Services Department at Indian Beach Nursing and Rehab Center.Laundry Aide Job Summary:As a Laundry Aide, you will be responsible for loading laundry machines and processing laundry to clean linens. You will also remove and sort linens and clothing from dryers, operate washers and dryers using prescribed cleaning methods, and maintain a high level of quality and safety.Laundry Aide Responsibilities:Collects soiled linens and clothing and sorts articles for washingChecks marking on residents' clothes and other linens of the facility and marks as required if necessaryInspects articles for wear and tearDelivers clothing, linens, and other articles to appropriate places in the facilityCleans equipment and work area in the laundry daily and as necessaryMust be able to lift without restrictionsPerforms tasks that require continuous walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, pulling, and pushingOccasional lifting of items weighing over 50 poundsRequires considerable dexterity, hand, foot, and eye coordination, and concentration as well as visual acuity to see dirt, dust, and debrisCompletes other duties as assignedLaundry Aide Qualifications:Experience in housekeeping preferredExperience in healthcare preferredMust be able to pass level 2 background fingerprinting with Eligible status AHCA BackgroundPlease see the link to the new Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse Education and Awareness website.This site was implemented under the directive of House Bill 531 (2025).• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
