Patient Service Representative Baystate Health, Western Massachusetts's premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region is looking for a Full-time Patient Service Representative to join our experienced Cardiology team in Springfield, MA.Responsibilities:Baystate Health's Patient Service Representatives perform a variety of different tasks throughout the day. This includes greeting patients, check in and check out and requesting copays. Responsibilities also include verifying insurances, answering telephones and faxing medical documents.Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours a weekMonday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pmNo weekends, No holidaysLocation: 3300 Main St.Springfield, MAQualifications: High School Diploma or GED, requiredAt least 6 months in a medical office setting, preferredGreat interpersonal skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment a MUSTMedical terminology, keyboard, Microsoft office products, schedule systems, medical records (electronic and paper), billing, basic math, language, reading and writing, customer serviceThe Advantages of Working with Baystate!
