You’ll audit existing lighting systems, identify upgrade opportunities, and collaborate with our bid and operations teams to deliver effective, cost-saving solutions for commercial, municipal, and government clients. If you’re motivated, organized, and have a track record of growing sales, this opportunity is for you.What You’ll Do· Drive new sales opportunities with commercial, industrial, and public-sector clients across WA and OR.· Conduct detailed lighting audits to assess existing fixtures, wattages, and controls, and develop efficient retrofit recommendations.· Collaborate with the bid coordinator and operations teams to build accurate proposals, budgets, and rebate packages.· Prepare and respond to RFPs, manage contract documentation, and ensure compliance with public-sector procurement requirements.· Follow up proactively with clients to clarify project scope, confirm deliverables, and assist with rebate submissions to local utility programs.· Track and manage project details and bids using Excel — including fixture counts, pricing, energy savings, and timelines — with high attention to accuracy.· Stay informed about evolving lighting technologies, rebate incentives, and energy codes to provide knowledgeable guidance.· Travel frequently within the assigned territory to conduct site walks, attend client meetings, and ensure project success.What You Bring· 2–5 years of sales experience in lighting, electrical, or energy-efficiency solutions, or a similar technical B2B field. Experience working with property managers, government entities, and trades a plus.· Understanding of lighting systems, controls, and retrofit applications.
