Travel School Psychologist - Alpine, WY

A school district in Alpine, Wyoming, is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support student assessment, intervention, and counseling services. This role involves working closely with educators, parents, and administrators to promote the academic and emotional well-being of students. The position includes travel to various school sites within the district.Key Responsibilities:Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to support special education eligibility determinations.Develop and implement intervention strategies and behavior plans tailored to individual student needs.Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote positive educational outcomes.Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.Monitor student progress and adjust support plans accordingly.Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district and state guidelines.Preferred Qualifications and Experience:Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.Experience conducting assessments and delivering school-based counseling.Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to travel regularly between school sites within the district.Location: Alpine, Wyoming
