Financial Analyst – General Ledger opportunity – Troy, MIMust live within a commutable distance.We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst-General Ledger to join the team of a leading company in the Troy, MI area. This role offers competitive pay, benefits, and the opportunity to contribute in a collaborative work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly journal entries, accounting analyses, reconciliations, and supporting work papers. Develop audit schedules and collaborate with external auditors to facilitate an efficient audit process. Calculate currency revaluations on outstanding foreign balances for corporate entities. Investigate and resolve intercompany balance sheet and P&L discrepancies during month-end reporting. Collaborate with both finance and non-finance colleagues, domestically and internationally, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across accounting functions. Ensure compliance with established guidelines within assigned areas of responsibility. Serve as a resource and point of contact for plant and product line colleagues, offering guidance and support for business inquiries. Assist with special accounting projects as needed. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required) 3-5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance Strong experience with general ledger processes Self-motivated with a strong drive for continuous improvement Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills High attention to detail with a commitment to quality Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities **Apply today for immediate consideration.
