Role Description The Working Foreman at EDGE Construction LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Columbus, IN. This role involves managing crews on construction projects, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained. The Working Foreman will actively participate in construction tasks, operate heavy equipment when needed, and coordinate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines and project goals. Qualifications Strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, scheduling, and the ability to manage a diverse crew effectivelyProficiency with operating and maintaining Heavy Equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, or loadersEffective Communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey instructions and maintain productive collaborationCarpentry and Maintenance experience relevant to construction projectsCommitment to workplace safety and ensuring compliance with safety protocolsProblem-solving abilities and adaptability to dynamic construction environmentsAny certifications related to heavy equipment operation or OSHA safety training are a plusMinimum of a high school diploma or GED; further technical training is beneficial
