In-Building Construction ManagerAustin, TX & Dallas, TX & Houston TXTravel RequiredOverview:We are seeking an experienced DAS In-Building Construction Manager responsible for overseeing all Civil Works activities, including scheduling, financial control, service provider management, and quality assurance. This role ensures compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and all federal and local regulations while driving project execution and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Project & Site Management:Manage and control Civil Works activities, including scheduling (time), cost, and quality.Ensure all work aligns with approved site designs and customer specifications.Coordinate site activities and ensure all teams are aligned with project goals.Attend coordination and progress meetings with internal and external stakeholders.Vendor & Service Provider Oversight:Ensure Service Providers (SP/ASP) comply with company standards, processes, and procedures.Monitor vendor performance and enforce contractual quality standards.Report poor performance and address quality issues on-site.Quality & Compliance:Conduct site pre-inspections, verifications, and post-construction audits.Perform visual inspections to ensure installation quality meets expectations.Enforce all safety regulations, including customer, federal, and local guidelines.Ensure only approved materials are used and reject incorrect deliveries.Drive project schedules and troubleshoot issues impacting delivery.Provide technical support to service providers and suppliers.Resolve Civil Works issues during project execution.Reporting & Documentation:Provide accurate and timely progress updates to project management.Prepare regular status and progress reports.Maintain and update construction documentation in Site Handler, including:SOW and pre-construction documents (NTP, RFDS, safety, QA standards)Progress tracking and verification (daily PFA updates)Close-out documentation and approvalsAdditional Responsibilities:Interpret and ensure compliance with civil design plans.Supervise and coordinate across multiple disciplines.Lead teams with a focus on quality and results.Manage materials (ordering, returns, claims).Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities.Required Skills & Experience:Minimum 8+ years of experience in Civil Works and Construction Management, preferably in telecom or in-building projects.Experience managing telecom or in-building projects preferred.Solid understanding of safety regulations and worksite compliance.Ability to manage vendors, schedules, and project deliverables effectively.Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.What you didn’t know about us:Competitive salaryHealth, Dental and Vision BenefitsShort/Long Term Disability and Critical Care/Illness ProtectionLife Insurance and Retirement PlansEmployee Assistance ProgramWith this position, you will get the opportunity to work with our game changing clients and further advance your already valuable experience in the telecom industry!We are Connectors.
